At the age of 25, I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome in my right hand. My fingers would tingle, my wrist was tender and often I had sharp pains up my arm and into my shoulder. I was wearing a brace all day and my left hand showed signs of the same symptoms. So I changed the way I worked, and stayed off sports that involved my hands (cycling and yoga). I stretched a lot and was more mindful of my postures. Eventually I started to feel better. After a year, most of the numbness went away, but the pain stayed and my improvement plateaued.

Then in 2015 I started to learn about energy work and the mind/body connection. When you feel stress, your body creates tension and when tension builds up, pain develops. Using exercise, bodywork, and meditation the tension will rise to the surface so you can process it and let it go. Through my studies I realized that I was holding tension, emotion, and frustration in my wrists. Craniosacral therapy and energy work have helped release and unwind my body. My pain is gradually dwindling, and the return to normal seems slow but a surething. The work I've received for myself is now the work I want to give to others.

Manual Therapy

I use a combination of passive joint, massage, and sensory repatterning to open up the body.

Energy Healing

Energy flows through everyone. Our cells create energy and like matter, energy in our bodies can be blocked or slowed. By helping the body overcome these blocks, the tissue is better supported to heal.

Energetic healing can:

  • balance the flow of energy in the body
  • support the immune system
  • create deep relaxation

"How can you speed up healing a fracture? This was a continuous question circling over and over in my thoughts as I lay awake at night. I wanted an immediate solution for my broken right fibula and tibia bone after an ORIF surgery. As a person who loves to ride waves, hike up mountains, and run around freely to unknown places, being locked up in my apartment was a prison cell.
